Hi Priya,

Quick one. I've seen the plan to run the new-starter onboarding across the week of 18 August. That's the same week the Harlow renewal lands, and I'd really like the sales team focused on that, it's a big account and I don't want us distracted.

Could we push onboarding to the following week?

Hi Tom,

I hear you on Harlow. The tricky bit is the three new starters begin on 17 August, and leaving them without a proper onboarding week isn't fair on them, first impressions matter. The week after is also when Maya and I are both partly out for the summer social and the office-move site visits.

Can we find a middle path rather than a straight swap?

Hi both,

Idea: onboarding is fairly front-loaded. The sessions that actually need the sales team are the Thursday and Friday shadowing slots. What if we keep onboarding in the week of 18 August, but move the sales-shadowing part to the Monday after (25th)? That keeps the new starters looked after and frees the sales team during the Harlow crunch.

Happy to redo the schedule if that works.
