Free AI training for work, written for UK workplaces
AI Tools Academy is a free course for working adults who want to use AI tools properly: not developers, and not people who want the theory. It is written for UK workplaces, uses UK English and UK examples, and asks for nothing in return: no account, no email address, no tracking.
What it covers
- Foundations that apply to every tool: how they work, prompting, checking answers, privacy.
- ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Gemini, each in three levels from beginner to power user.
- Power Automate, for people who want routine work to happen on its own.
- Cross-tool mastery: choosing between assistants, agents, and judging AI output.
How it works
Every lesson has a workplace example, prompts you can copy, and a short task to try. If you would rather not use your own work material, a set of fictional files from a made-up company called Fernway gives you something realistic to practise on. Your progress is saved in your browser. Pass a tool's final checkpoint and you can download a free certificate.
Keeping it current
These tools change most months. Each lesson shows the date it was last checked against the live product, and a public log records what changed and why.
